• 8-214 HS Scratch Resistant Clear

  The 8-214 Scratch Resistant clear coat has been developed to enable smash repairers to repair vehicles painted originally in an OEM Scratch Resistant clear coats. These vehicles have been coated in a Scratch Resistant Clear coats to minimise the effects of scratches created by brushes in car wash machines. These vehicles are generally painted in dark colours which highlight scratches.

  • Developed with the latest nano-technology.
  • Nano-sized ceramic particles are added to the clear coat, resulting in an extremely hard and durable finish resistant to day to day wear and tear.
  • Can also be used for restoration work as well as for truck and bus refurbishments.
  • Also being high solids, this clear coat offers a low VOC reading.

  Area of application	HS Scratch Resistant Clear will be used as a clear colourless top coat over 900 series. Suitable for passenger cars.
  Chemical base	Polyurethane finish based on low viscous hydroxyacrylic resins.
  General qualities	This high solid Scratch Resistant Clear is less sensitive to scratches caused by carwash brushes. The product is slightly hazy in the tin, easy to use, non yellowing and has a high gloss finish. Air and force drying.
  Auxiliary materials	8-140/8-150/8-160 HS Hardener. 1-141/1-151/1-161 Uni Thinner. 47-39 2K Elastic. 47-91 2K Spot Repair Thinner.
  Mixing ratio (Vol.)	2:1 with 8-140/8-150/8-160+0-5% thinner.
